He lies in his answers. He did not like children AT ALL. I had the great misfortune of having met him several times while at the NY Catholic Foundling. He was cold, indifferent, callous and vain.
What's interesting is that the etiquette back then was that the men would stand to shake hands while the women stayed seated, but both women here are standing to acknowledge Archbishop Sheen, and Dorothy kisses his ring. So respectful.

Today you said that some Christians hide themselves in convents to avoid persecution, etc. Truly, what you said is NOT right. Monks & Nuns do lots of WORK: teaching at the Catholic schools, working at churches, visiting hospitals & families, visiting prisoners, working with the homeless and doing missionary work, to name a few. Also, they pray & sing daily for 5 hrs - & they rise very early to pray. St. James said that prayers of true Christians bear lots of fruit (James 5). Frankly, God will judge us for whatever we say & do; the Gospel says that our work will follow us for eternity. I hope you will correct this misconception & apologize to your listeners. I believe that those who apologize for their mistakes are honest and brave people.
